Modern slavery

Where we stand on modern slavery.

Construction carries a real risk of labour exploitation. Here is our zero-tolerance position and what we do about it.

This is a voluntary statement. A statement under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 is only required of organisations with annual turnover of £36 million or more, which is well above our size. We make it anyway, in the spirit of that section, because SiteVerified serves a sector where the risk is real.

1. Our commitment

Addaeus Ltd is committed to acting ethically and with integrity, and to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chain. We have a zero-tolerance approach to slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour and human trafficking.

2. Who we are

SiteVerified is a software platform operated by Addaeus Ltd (registered in England & Wales, company number 17269747). We help operators evidence their qualifications and right to work, and help employers and agencies find verified workers. We are a technology provider and marketplace; we do not employ or supply the operators who use the platform. We are a small UK organisation, and our own supply chain is mainly lower-risk software and infrastructure suppliers.

3. How the platform helps

  • Right-to-work and certification checks help employers meet their legal obligations and make it harder to place undocumented or exploited workers.
  • First-party records, like verified certifications, on-site check-in evidence and transparent pay disclosures, make irregularities such as wage withholding easier to spot.
  • Our acceptable use policy prohibits any use of the platform connected to forced labour, illegal working or trafficking, and we act on credible reports.

4. Due diligence and reporting

  • We engage reputable, established suppliers and review their terms.
  • Anyone can report exploitation or misuse to security@siteverified.co.uk, and we investigate credible reports.
  • Where appropriate we escalate to the authorities, including the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA) or the police, and cooperate with lawful requests.

5. Approval

This statement is approved by the director of Addaeus Ltd and is reviewed at least annually.

Joel Addai, Director, Addaeus Ltd. June 2026.
